I have chosen beefy Lieutenant Sergei Gayduk from Odessa as the Komendatura (Army Traffic Control Unit) officer for my film Afgan because of his soulful reflections of life in Afghanistan. His job is to escort convoys from Afghanistan to the Soviet border.
